Transforming 100 Million Lives

The Limkokwing Foundation for Creativity and Innovation is a global philanthropic organisation founded in 1998 by Tan Sri Limkokwing. It aims to empower and transform youth worldwide through creative education.

Steered by a greater focus on universal access to education, the foundation opened unparalleled halls of academia to admit youth all over the world for whom a tertiary education would otherwise have been denied because of traditional ideas that reserved university education for an exclusive few.

The foundation has embarked on a historic mission to transform 100 million lives over the next three years to ensure youths from disadvantaged backgrounds and marginalised communities are able to go to university to pursue a degree of their choice.

Empowering 100 million Dreams

Over the past 20 years, the Limkokwing Foundation has played a pivotal role in increasing university access for multitudes of young adults.

Scholarships worth millions have been granted in Malaysia, Africa and countless others including those from war-stricken countries.

Beneficiaries of the Limkokwing Foundation Scholarships have succeeded in driving transformation and innovation while contributing to industries in their own countries.

Thousands of students in Africa who are granted the scholarships are assisting their Governments and fast-tracking poverty eradication initiatives, decreasing unemployment rates thus boosting the countries’ industries.

Limkokwing Foundation for Creativity and Innovation scholarships are awarded to individuals who display a wide range of talent. Apart from individuals who have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, the University recognises and endeavours to nurture among others leadership qualities, achievements in sports and among all creative approaches to innovation.
