NATION BUILDING

Sierra Leone

“In partnering with Limkokwing University of Creative Technology which is Malaysia’s most globally-successful university, my government seeks to tap from its refreshingly different approach to tertiary education. An approach which has contributed to the social economic transformation in Botswana, Lesotho, and Swaziland—the three African countries where it is established. The opening of the Limkokwing University campus will help meet our country’s high demand for graduates in the field of digital technology.”

Dr Ernest Bai Koroma
President of Sierra Leone

Since 2008, the Government of Sierra Leone has been fostering efforts and paving way for the establishment of universities to provide quality and affordable education for its youth.

The Government is committed to improving all sectors with the implementation of programmes as part of its continuous responses to global demands for human capital.
